Corrective Exercise & Functional Strength Programming For Endurance Athletes & Busy Working Professionals
Being a modern day endurance athlete is not necessarily natural or healthy. Sure, some bodies are able to complete these crazy athletic endeavors, but it often comes at the price of an injury. It may not be immediate, but it can build over time. Most of us have some form of experience with an injury that de-rails our training and some of us have had to cancel races because of the injury. So what does it take to stay healthy while swimming, biking, and running (or any other endurance event)? Well, it often takes doing some work outside of your desired sport to keep your body moving in a healthy, optimal manner. What exactly this entails will often vary from athlete to athlete as well as from sport to sport. By evaluating each athlete’s individual mechanics and appreciating the demands of their sport we can create a program to help them stay healthy and prevent injuries from occurring in the first place. Additionally, by addressing sub-optimal movement dysfunction one can improve efficiency and performance while completing their desired sport (they go faster!). We want to specialize in creating programs based on your individual needs and mechanics to keep you healthy and achieve your athletic goals.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP ONE: We start with a free consultation to learn about your background, lifestyle, stress habits, past injuries or current limitations. All your questions about your program will be answered durning this consultation. This can be done at my office or by phone.
STEP TWO: Assessment Consultation.(Covid dependent) This will be a 60 min session. You will go through a in depth assessment of your current movement patterns, current limitations, and address form on specific movements. This session can be done at my office, your home or I do assessments at Louisville Rec Center. * Option for remote assessment.
Getting Started: Based on your assessment, we will decide what type of program will be best for you
PROGRAM INCLUDES
Custom built training plan to fit your specific schedule and lifestyle.
True Coach online training calendar/app where you will have all your exercises, demo videos, and places to record your results and be able to instant message your coach for feedback.
At anytime during your programming, you will have the ability to send a video of a movement if you feel you need more instruction or are having any pain with any of the exercises given.
One on One training session with coach. ($30). Optional, but recommended each month.
PRICE:
Assessment consultation in person with coach ($45). Price varies via zoom consultation.
$110 per month (2 workouts per week. 8 workouts per month)
$125 per month (3 workouts per week. 12 workouts per month)
$140 per month (4 workouts per week. 16 workouts per month)
$160 per month (5 workouts per week. 20 workouts per month)
